Sturt Desert Pea Card

This greeting card features Meryl Bell's Sturt desert pea artwork.

The Sturt desert pea is the floral emblem of South Australia, but it is also found extensively in Western Australia.

The Sturt pea was first collected by seafarer William Dampier from Rosemary Island in the Dampier Archipelago off the coast of Western Australia in 1699. The original specimen is held at the Sherardian Herbarium in Oxford, England.
