'Jalin' artwork, by Peggy Griffiths (Miriwoong, born 1950), reproduced in silk. In this painting Peggy has depicted Jalin or Beasley Knob, surrounded by spinifex clusters. This is an area of Peggy's traditional Country and an important dreaming site for Miriwoong people. Peggy lives here now; she says this place is still unspoiled and the same as it used to be back when people came here to hunt and camp.
