Meagan Gardiner

Meagan Gardiner was born in the wheatbelt town of Kellerberrin in Western Australia in 1966. She and her two sisters enjoyed a happy childhood growing up on their parents’ farm. In many senses you could say that Meagan’s work is a reflection of the way her father taught her to observe the natural world in which she and her family lived.

Meagan’s work specializes in handmade three-dimensional miniature shadow boxes containing found objects ranging from sea shells from the Australian coastline, to native seeds and wildflowers from the bush, and more recently, computer, watch parts, Kalgoorlie gold and iron ore.

Made in Western Australia.
