Jude Willis is a Perth-based artist whose work celebrates the natural environment and the ecosystems that flourish and flounder within it.
In documenting the fragility and the beauty of places she knows well, Jude is exploring the landscape from both macro and micro perspectives. Gently probing beyond surface appearances, Jude's work is both a celebration and an interrogation of the world around her.
Jude's art practice incorporates both plein air and studio work and embraces a wide range of techniques and materials, including mixed media, acrylic, works on paper and large canvases, and print making.
