Katheryn Leopoldseder

Katheryn Leopoldseder is an internationally recognised contemporary jeweller and exhibiting artist. She hand-makes limited edition jewellery collections as well as producing large-scale art objects. With a focus on craftsmanship, Katheryn utilises the language of personal adornment and its unique relationship to the body, to reflect on the human condition.

Katheryn is the recipient of several awards, grants and acquisitions. Her work is represented in collections including the NSW Powerhouse Museum and The Art Gallery of South Australia. In 2014, the Federal Government of Australia commissioned Katheryn to design and handcraft brooches that showcased uniquely Australian materials and themes. The brooches were gifted to each of the 20 visiting delegates attending the G20 conference as a gesture of welcome.

Katheryn is a founding member of Melbourne's dynamic Abbotsford Convent Arts and Cultural precinct where she shares her craft with curious visitors and enjoys collaborations with other artists, musicians and cultural innovators.

Made in Australia.
