Albany based artist Sue Codee specialises in hand cut paper installation art objects. Sue will spend the September long weekend as our Artist in Residence creating a large 'Kings Park' papercut especially for us. Don’t miss this chance to learn more about her exquisite work.
Sue' contemporary paper cuts and woodcut designs are based on stories of family, place, community, environment, human fragility and vulnerability. They employ both personal and universal themes.
The designs stem from the subconscious, from dreams and imagination. They are playful musings on life and the community in which she lives. Sue is able to successfully blend together design, craft, folk art, and story telling into each of her fabulous pieces.
Aspects is showcasing Sue's new exhibition artwork 'paper wildflowers' and a gorgeous range of framed paper cuts, woodcuts, and jewellery throughout September.
Sue will also be our Artist in Residence, 11.00 am to 3.00 pm, 27-30 September 2013. Dont miss this chance to learn more about her exquisite work and see her creating a large 'Kings Park' paper cut especially for us.
