We love luscious glass in all its forms, so we are delighted to have recently welcomed a new glass artist to the Aspects family.
Patrick Wong has always been interested in art, a passion which has led to a successful career as a glass artist, specialising in figurative glass sculpture.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Ceramic Design) from Monash University, he honed his skills as a glassblower’s assistant, predominantly making perfume bottles.
He has since gone on to develop his own distinct body of work, and cites classical Greek sculpture as a source of inspiration.
Over the years, Patrick has also exhibited extensively throughout Victoria.
Aspects now carries a selection of Patrick’s exquisite work, spanning perfume bottles, paper weights, small bowls and his signature torsos, in store only.
His jewel coloured range of vases are perfect for bringing colour and form to your home this summer – and look particularly radiant when brimming with vivid blooms!
