Inspired by the cacophony of spring in the Perth hills where she lives, Bethamy has designed a range of work that is direct, spontaneous and communicated some of the vibrancy and abundance of the wildflower season. She has brought together colour and simple shapes to which small details drawn from various flowers have been added and which can be combined in a limitless number of ways.
Hand made in anodised titanium and sterling silver, these pieces are light and comfortable to wear, fun and functional every day pieces.
About the Artist:
Nestled in her studio on a picturesque 350 acre property in Gidgegannup, surrounded by the unique West Australian landscape that inspires much of her work, Bethamy Linton is a fourth generation West Australian silversmith. Bethamy’s interest in jewellery and metal object design began as a child during hours spent in the Linton family workshops with her grandfather, father and uncle.
