Description

This handmade porcelain spice and sauce dish features designs of native Australian plants with either Leaves, Gum-nuts or Blossoms carved into the surface and glazed with cobalt blue inlay with a small matching ceramic spoon and is ideal for small treats, salt/pepper, sauces, herbs and spices.

Made on the potter's wheel, glazed on the inside with a glossy clear foodsafe glaze, and is dishwasher and microwave safe. The outside is unglazed leaving it with a beautiful smooth matte finish which feels delightful in your hand.

About the Artist:
Danica Wichtermann creates ceramics pieces inspired by the natural environment, with references to the often unseen characteristics of the bush, native flora and the ocean. She lives in Perth, Western Australia.
