Meet the Artists: Chimerical Homewares

During the 2021 Kings Park Festival, Aspects is excited to present the work of local ceramic artists Chimerical Homewares.

Chimerical Homewares are a young Western Australia duo that hand-paints their ceramics with bright colours, abstract shapes and botanical flourishes to bring fun and life to your decor.

Sharnah and Charissa met studying fashion design in Perth. They developed their love for ceramics and their eclectic style whilst teaching ceramic painting at kids workshops. When their own houses started to overflow with their hand-painted creations, they started to sell their designs at local markets and then artisan stores. In 2017 they bought their own kiln and started their own ceramic painting workshops from their studio space in Burswood.

As part of Aspects’ Meet the Artist program, Sharnah and Charissa will be in-store demonstrating how their ceramics are created. Don’t miss this opportunity to see them at work.
