Description

Kate is a contemporary botanical artist who immerses herself in the shapes, patterns and shades of the Australian bush. Eucalypts, banksias, hakeas and kangaroo paws are apparent in contemporary still life arrangements, often echoed with stylised printing.

While predominantly painting with acrylics, a mix of media such as oils, inks, pastels, collage and printing find their way into her work.

Kate is based in Perth, where she finds inspiration in her native garden, and is a frequent visitor to Kings Park. Largely a self-taught artist, over the past few years she has been fortunate to study under some renowned Western Australian and international artists.

Aspects stocks an ever-changing range of Kate's paintings.

Made in Western Australia.
