Come in to Aspects this July to check out some nature inspired objects from Amanda Dziedzic and Danielle Rickaby.

Both of our featured artists, Amanda Dziedzic and Danielle Rickaby, are from South Australia and have won awards for their nature inspired glass.

Amanda describes herself as a glass gardener.

I may not cultivate these particular ones in the soil, but I do work in one very hot house. I weild a different type of secateurs and I use a different medium to sculpt and shape my plants. They take on personalities of their own and form little families.

Danielle uses art to explore issues of water shortage and climate change.

My work explores environmental issues such as the fragile state of our Australian habitat, water shortage and climate change. I wanted to create something fresh and lush that makes the viewer smile as they remember the green, grassy, fun lawns of Australia.
